Release all the Jeffrey Epstein files

Backgound

Since the late 1980's Mr. Jeffrey Epstein and his coworkers at his "resort" were making money and connections with the social and business elite around the world...by trafficking in the sexual exploitation of minors out of Florida. This is not "aleged" or "reported", THESE ARE FACTS that have landed both him and his primary co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, in many court cases and in the case of Mrs. Maxwell convicted of sex trafficking-related counts and sentenced to prison time.

But when Mr. Epstein was originally brought up on charges in 2005, even after pleading guilty he received the lightest of punishments and was able to continue their trafficking for nearly another 15 years. His arrest in 2019 led to him being detained in a New York jail cell where he died under mysterious circumstances.

It is widely believed that his deat was not an accident - it is reported that many of his business associates who helped run his "resort" knew of many hidden cameras and other recording devices. The assumption is that he was collecting this information on any client to use as blackmail material to buy his protection and ensure his "business" continued un-encumbered by US and international laws.

And even many years later we have seen that ALL levels of US government are evading the widespread public release of the files collected by the US Federal courts related to Mr. Epstein and his business practices and contacts.

Our request

Release the entire, unredacted, and complete collection of Federal documents related to Mr. Epstein, his contacts, and his business practices.

As a Nebraska resident and father, I'm calling to ask for your support of H.Res.581, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

For twenty years, we've seen justice delayed because of powerful connections and blackmail concerns. Our children deserve better. There's no just reason to withhold federal documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Please support full, unredacted disclosure of all Epstein files. Anything less shows our government is protecting powerful individuals over our most vulnerable citizens - our children.

The defense that "it would irreparably harm many US and world leaders" is NOT a defense, this is detestable and flies against the social and personal values we need for a healthy society to flourish.

As a lifelong resident of Nebraska my sisters and I were raised by ourparents to respect and protect the weak from the unjust actions of the powerful. As a father I continued teaching my children this by modeling these actions in every activitiy, public and private.

You have a chance to show that you and our elected representatives are also protecting the weakest and most vulnerable in our country - our children.

For the past twenty years since Florida began it's investigation of Epstein and Maxwell, and their activities there and his off-shore island estate, the results of the charges based on those investigations have shown one thing: If you have money and ties to others with money, you're untouchable. Regardless of what evidence was collected, it was never enough. And they continued to walk free to continue working and benefiting from the connections their prostitution ring fostered.

And it is because of his connections and the blackmail his documents and videos provided of rich and powerful people (both American and international) that he and his legacy have been permitted to evade justice. The defense that "it would irreparably harm many US and world leaders" is NOT a defense, this is detestable and flies against the social and personal values we need for a healthy society to flourish.

THERE IS NO GOOD NOR JUST REASON to withold releasing ALL of the federal documents pertaining to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Support H.Res.581, the Epstein Files Transparency Act and any other acts or votes that come until ALL the Epstein files are released completely and un-redacted for public discourse.

Anything less than a full, complete, and unredacted disclosure is proving - yet again - that our government is protecting powerful individuals, protecting their influence, over our most vulerable assett - our children.
